Doea anyone have a trick for keeping great balls of snow from accumulating on your felt boots while walking to and from the river?

Buy lug soles and Korkers or just try Korkers over the felt. I was thinking about buying felt bootfoots this year and instead, decided to try the Korkers on the lug soles. They were out for the maiden trip this morning and performed very well! I'm glad that I didn't shell out a few hundred for waders.

Charlie told me the aquastealth with studs are the best way to go, sounds like a good solution. AS without studs are pretty useless IMHO.

I recall feeling like frankenstein walking across a snowy field in my felts :hihi:

Used a pull-on cleat on my boot-foots yesterday and had no problem. The cleat only covers about the front two-thirds of the felt yet I never had a build-up on the rest.

Cleats help. My wife calls them "moon boots" when there is snow on the ground.

That's a big 10/4 on the aqau stealth and studs.
