Hi,

i'm planning a trip to Cayo Guillermo in December. Has anybody been there? Where can i get a guide and /or a boat (bonefishing/trolling)?

Tell your trip advisor you want to get ahold of Duniesky, he`s the guide fore this area. 70 pesos for the guide and 75 for a rental car for a trip. Awesome guide. If you want some trolling, you can even mention it to the guys at the booth for catamaran`s, snorkelling gear, etc in front of Melia for 60 pesos for 2 hrs for my wife and I. We caught lots of cudas, snappers, etc. Not that comfortable on a little catamaran but very enjoyable, and convenient. Theres plenty of opportunities here. Theres alot of talk on the forums about all the fish on the pier, there wasn`t while I was there but about 10 minutes from the resorts at the marinas you can catch lots of fish as well. Awesome tarpon and bones with Duniesky.

I have not fished Cayo Guillermo but had some very good fishing a little further down at Cayo Coco.
Good luck Trev
