I fished the Northwest Miramichi on the 14th and 15th of October. Had good results with three nice salmon of 31, 30 and 28 inches respectively. I then moved over to the Nepisaguit on the 16th. The water was great in the morning but by afternoon it was in full flood. I didnít see as much as a scale! With a bit of time on my hands I headed off to the Acadian peninsula to look at the Bass, Big Caraquet, Tracadie and Tabusintac rivers. All were over their banks and in my opinion unfishable. However I was surprised to see three fishermen below Lord and Foy dangling line while sanding well back in the alders. Do they know something I donít??? I will return this week to investigate!!!
