When cradling Mister Bonito for a quick not.. I repeat not ....let your thumb slide near his mouth...

This one actually opened his mouth and bit me :smokin:

Anyone have a good pattern for a thumb fly

Great photo! Got the fly, rod, fish and bloody thumb all in one frame!

I was wondering if we were ever going to hear anything about bonito this year. Thanks for the report!

Thanks Q...May have to hop on these Bonito quick this year...Albies can't be far behind with the Chovies around.

Fred..The SBFT search part of the day yesterday went unrewarded..We were off Rhodychusetts checkin the ledges..Saw some potential signs of their return but no actual close up sightings of Blue fin or Skippies.

What the hell is that! I think you been sneaking over to the far side, I can`t believe you took that in the middle.

That's a bite worth having JF!!! I will trade thumbs with you in a minute......Stop whining. I am in serious SBFT withdrawl and not sure I am going to make it or not a shot of Bonito vaccine would go a long way towards my recovery :hihi:

Slinger, Those Middleside Fish are your fingers! Especially the key tying fingers

re the BFT...We had a massive amount of bait out there...We X-Rapped and jigged around a number of schools of bait like these looking for one to show all to no avail...At least the weather was good. :smokin:
