Hello,

I have posted information in the past concerning Dead Zones due to man's impact. Unfortunately, now it's routine enough that they have developed a forcast for Hypoxia events based on nutrient loads. It's a shame it only seems to be getting worse not better. Earth Observatory Satellite's can show the highly loaded source areas, But it seems not much else is done to slow or diminish agricultural runoff. looks like hypoxia and toxic algea blooms are just going to increase and get more frequent based on current trends. :(

Obviously, when problems as surmounting as this one are brought to the forefront, Man has a tendency to "Justify". That coupled with a statement that puts Restoration at the bottom of the list certainly makes this a monumental task! The population of the world needs to know what kind of direction the enviroment is headed. But in each case, the $ usually wins out.
There is alot said in this short article, if one reads between the lines!
Thank's Greg for bringing this up. As we each continue to do our small part, collectivly we can make a difference!
