My new this season Airflo Delta Trout line seems to be hanging up in the guides and does not shoot worth a dam. Air temps are in the 80s, water temps in the 60s. Is this typical of Airflo Delta lines?

Mine have been fine even when the water temps were in the 80s (after smallies not trout).

Actually it is very unlike Airflo lines. There is 1 thing to remember though, unless you have at least some of the heavier belly section of the line outside the guides you will have trouble shooting line because there will be more line weight inside the guides than outside them. You need mass outside the rod tip to pull the shooting line out. The single hand Delta lines have heads of about 40 to 45 feet, so you'll need at least 35 feet or so of line outside the tip if you're going to try to shoot any line. I always mark the back end of the line with a permanet marker to be able to quickly identify where that point is.
