Any opinions / experience out there on Abel's larger rods (10-14) wt?

How fast are they? How do they throw? How would you compare them to RPLXI, T&T or Powell?

I have not heard much about them. I would like to know who makes them. I don't think Abel is geared up to make rods. I saw an one post on another Forum that , by interpretation of the answer, Powell makes them.??? I don't know for sure. I do see a number of them from time to time on e-bay.

I have a 3pc 9wt 9ft Abel rod. It is beautifully made and has a great action. However I think it is a little too soft for saltwater fishing.
I also have Sage Xi2, Orvis T3 and T & T Horizon which are all much faster than the Abel.
The Abel has more of a middle action than the others.
My rods of choice at the moment are custom built Bloke rods made in England.

Sorry I just noticed that you were interested in the 10-14wt rods, can't help.

John I don't know who makes them. I don't think they sell very many of them. Very little feedback out there.
