: BONECLAVE 2005
We are on! Site #9 is ours Sept 30, October 1-2nd (Fri-Sun).
Hopefully this will tilt the scale toward more albies, since we bring such good food that we don't need the bonito sushi (we just like it). The bass migration will be on, and the pea bunker should be mixed with adult bunker and therefore some of the biggest fish of the year.
Set your calendars, and please reply if you think you can attend. This will serve as the preliminary attendance list, another final list will be posted later in the season as the date approaches.
Once again, Rhody is still on but will be held later in October. Also the Island Sortie' is also still on, but might be in September since they get hardtails earlier out on the island - but not during the tournament of course.

I will not be able to attend on those dates. I have a family vacation planned that cannot be rescheduled. The dates look choice and I am sure you guys will get into some serious action. See you all at the Rhoddy clave.
Those are the first dates open for the group waterfront site, so beggars can't be choosy I guess.
Should be good fishing... you will be missed though!
I should be able to swing that.

Well the Fabuluos Estey's Bros have both bit the dust it seems! Congrats Mike ;)

Is there still room for 2?
Are there details posted somewhere with directions how we get get a campsite etc.? Sorry if I sound uninformed. If I can make it, it will be my first Clave with you guys and I hope to help out. I am always lurking (posting occasionally) and drooling over the trips you all put together...

I am new to this forum but would like very much to get more involved both in fishing trips and in conservation. As far as "Site #9" I am not sure where that is or if I can get that time off. I fish mostly in Maine (based in Vermont, so an easy 2 day trip) but will be on the Cape the week of Sep 14 - 21, staying in Brewster. If anyone has any suggestions on where to cast a fly in and around Brewster at that time of year that would be great. I use spey and traditional 9 foot 9 weight and practice catch and release.
OK this thing is right around the corner. What do we have for boats?
I don't know if we'll have the sign up sheet or not so let's see if we can cover it in a thread.
Great thinking! I will see if we can find one of the older sign-up sheets...
Here's a link that might answer some questions.

After careful consideration I have to miss this one. I waited til the last minute to let go of it I guess. Thought I might go anyways but...I have conflicting dates with my anniversary and a music festival the following weekend. I have never missed a Boneclave and was lucky to be able to help out on previous ones. I felt I needed to give it a rest too. So good luck and happy fishing guys. I will perhaps meet up with some of you in Rhodey.
You will be missed in a big way.
First on the Island and last to leave.
If things work out let's shoot for a repeat of the Halloween Bonito - micro clave.
That means we won't be doing the boneclave on the same weekend next year, your anniversary is too important. Only slightly more important than having you attend though, so expect a different weekend next year buddy.

Is it possible to edit the info we have entered about our Clave Itinerary. I seem to get an error message after I attempt an edit and the new info does not get included  Anyone with similar problems? Could be my fat finger :lildevl:
Just send me or JimW a PM with the changes, we'll fix the page next year but it's so close now so brute force prevails.
