This weekend I went to tie up a last batch of deceivers and found patches of mildew on the leather hide on several of my bucktails--the result of a month of dampness in the cellar.

I've sprayed the mildewed spots with alcohol and I've got 'em drying in the sun. I'm going to get some silica gel as dessicant for the bucktail storage drawer. Any other ideas?

Once the Bucktail is THOROUGHLY cleaned, rub salt into the skin and let dry in sun. When THOROUGHLY dry ,put in Baggies and seal. Stays good for a "lifetime"
