Has anyone done this technique before. I tried it for the first time last weekend in Arkansas, and it seemed to work very well. I had 3 flies going at once a copper john, scud, and a sowbug. It was pretty cool.

i was tought this technique last march in scotland on the river earn.ihad no luck but it was the first day of the season and the fish were scarce for everyone. seems so simple and obvious and i'm assured that it really works in the right circumstances-moderate current, gravel bottom deepish 6-12 ft.

What I would do was get in moderatley fast currents and work the seems. It was almost like jigging your fly. We didnt use strike indicators. You could get a better feel.
