Rich, if you get a chance to speak with him would you say hello to him for me.. I interviewed him about a month ago and he will be sending flies to me for our book on "Classic Saltwater Flies". He has been extremely helpful on the sea run ct... I intend to follow up with a second interview as the issues get finer.

It was really nice to see Steve Raymonds slide show. Thank you Steve.

Brian,

My 12 year old son a couple nights ago asked if he needed a new spin reel for our trip back east to fish for stripers. I told him to save his money. So when the op came up and I got lucky, BINGO. He was a happy kid when I got home last night.
Nice reel! He will fly fish maybe some day. But on his own making and with a little guidence from all of us is the way it will have to happen. He enjoys just going fishing with the kids his age and they don't fly fish. My daughter was fly fishing very well by the age 6 but Nolan is not ready, yet. He comes with me steelhead fishing and sits on the bank and watches and he likes that. I guess I'm the old school when it comes to fly fishing and that is one earns his place on the river. Hopefully he is taking it all in and next summer I will start him out with a couple trips to the local pond for sun fish on the fly or SRC's on the still water coves of the Hood Canal.

Good to see everyone from the WSC last night and it is good to see so many new members.
