We've hit the corner in the Northeast US as far as average temps go. The coldest time of the year is between today and the 25th of January. After that we start the warm-up!!!!
Just a little factoid to help keep the spirit up during this bloody cold snap.
This is good news indeed but can you New Englanders help push the seasons along a little faster? I am looking forward to my June Cape Cod wedding to a truely wonderful woman who has given me permission to fish on our honeymoon morning as early as I want. I feel guilty about that but when you love someone you got to just go with the flow. Every day I'm thinking hard of Cape Cod sands, tides, rips and working Gulls. :smokin:

I thought about fishing on my honeymoon but then this scenerio popped into my head ..... 5 - 10 or however many years down the road I come home late from fishing perhaps for the 3rd time that season some bit of arguing ensues and out comes "you even went fishing on our honeymoon!!!" It probably wont happen but I decided not to put that amo in her arsenal as I do enough stupid stuff. :hihi:
I had a great time on the honeymoon despite no fishing and I threw out the occasional longing look at the ocean which prompted sympathy and brownie points.
Striblue... did you hear that? Our environmental moderator is coming to the CAC for a bachelor party - break out the "special" fez :chuckle:
If you will accept, da' gang will treat you to a no-holds barred outing as our guest of honor on the best tide during your stay.
I will accept and you are all welcome to invade my wedding reception and drink it dry! :D
I remember some years back we had a clave to Monomoy, camped out at the state forest, it was a great time. Well one of the guys (BigCat) was out with us on day one getting dropped off at South Beach. Keith is getting the pickup times from everyone, most people are staying the day, except BigCat he's got to take off early why you might ask... Because he's getting married that afternoon :smokin: How cool is that?
