How about 8 Carron lines. New Carron auction up and ready to go. We are auctioning off the following:

5 9/10 65' Heads
1 10/11 75' Head
1 11/12 75' Head
1 11/12 85' Tournament Head

All proceds go to hosting costs for the 2005 season. Match one of these babies up with the Meiser rod for auction and hang on!

good question .. right now, I'm not sure after running this line through a few rods. BUT keep in mind, Guido is bidding on one of the 9/10's; DA BOSS wood be very dissed-apointed if he didn't get his expected Christ's Mass 'present.'

(Do you want me to hurt him boss? Na, Just the knee cap... :tsk_tsk: )

Could someone post the grain weights of these heads?

Hey Moose I am sorry but I do not have the grain weights. This lines run light for their rating though and I think they were rated for the aftma standards at 30'.

So for real world applications:

9/10 is actually an 8/9
10/11 is a 9/10
11/12 is a 10/11

Hoping somebody can pipe in with the grain weights though.

Malcom -

Thanks again for all the help.

BTW - that 85 10/11 line is the easiest 50yds I've ever cast (Salar Specialist).

I should mention that Malcom included a sample of fine peatwater for each auction winner.
