I really am not in business, but I am a gear junkie and I’ve accumulated a ton of stuff I’ll never use.

RODS
1.Spey rod, home made on Sage 9150-4 dark green blank. 15 ft. 9 weight. Traditional spey action. Struble U-18 seat, Pacbay single foot snakes. My wraps are not as neat as the factory, but the rod woks fine. Good condition. Plastic tube. $225.

2.Spey rod. Factory made Fly Logic Dec Hogan 1409 model. 14 ft. 9 weight. Smooth medium action. Alum. tube and sock. Very good condition. $225.

3.Trout rod. “Downunder” brand made in New Zealand. 9 ft. Labeled as 5/6 wt., but seems more 6/7. Crisp action. Tube and sock. Hardly used. $80.

REELS
1.STH Cayuga large arbor. 3 ¾” x 1 1/8” spool. Off-set brass-teflon disc drag.
One extra spool. $100.

2.STH Airweight Lever Action Drag. 4” x 1” spool. Strong cork disc drag. Two extra spools. $120.

3.Scientific Anglers System # 9. Actually made by Hardy, same as Marquis. 3 ¾” x 3/4'’ spool. Click pawl. One extra spool. Shows considerable use, but functionally sound. $150.

4.Elite. 3 ¾” x 1” spool. Click pawl. One extra spool. Seems little used. $50.

5.Shakespeare Worcestershire 2633 model. Made by J.W. Young in England. 4 1/8” x 1 5/8” spool. Center disc drag (don’t what material). One extra spool. Seems little used. Good for spey lines. This is a really nice machined reel. I wouldn’t sell it except I like click pawl reels. $150.

6.Farlow Perfect style salmon reel. Made in England 1920’s or 30’s. 4 ¼” x 1 1/2” spool. Weighs 14 oz. Very strong click pawl. Right hand wind only. In very good condition. Beautiful leaded finish. This is a real collectors item. $ 200 firm and a bargain at that.

7.Ryobi 455. 4” x 1” spool. Single click pawl with nylon flat spring. $50.

8.Shakespeare Beaulite (by J.W. Young) 4 ¼” x 1”. Adjustable single click pawl. Looks awful but works fine. $20.

9.Another Beaulite as above except constant pawl and spool screw instead of spool latch. Brass foot. Very clean. $40.

LINES
I also have a bunch used spey lines in 9 and 10 weight. Most are traditional DT from Britain in F, FS, S. I have some Rio and Wulff lines too. Prices range $10-$50 depending on condition and utility.

I am in the market for a 3 piece 13’-13’ 6” summer spey rod so trades are a possibility.

Prices above don’t include shipping, although I can be flexible on price and picking up shipping if you buy more than say $300 of stuff.

I live in Portland OR. Local folks are welcome to come by to see the stuff.

You can contact me with questions by responding here, or sending a PM, or a PM with your phone # and I’ll call you from home after work.

That covers it I think. Thanks for taking a look.

You're in Oregon, you should definitely look up Bob Meiser and try out his 13' 5/6. It is about the finest light 7 weight rod I've ever laid hands on and is the ideal summer run rod.

Moose,

I have not cast the Meiser, I love the CND Solstice 13' and if I replace my Burkie thats what I would consider. However, I will try and give Bob rod a try.
