One lucky thing about landing in New England after moving away from the PNW is the sports clout in ol' Beantown. The Patriots keep me feelin' good about watching football on Sundays and gotta love those Red Sox!

I am still a part-time Mariners fan of course, the M's heart and soul gets into your blood; and for all the old world charm Fenway posesses Safeco is like baseball heaven on earth.

Then there's the Seahawks... all that talent, Paul Allen is my hero and there will be a gorgeous stadium on primetime this week in Qwest field... but I just can't watch :Eyecrazy:

I want them to do well and with all the weapons all they need to do is stay in the game mentally and make some plays... however that seems to be the hard part for this talented team this season!

Seriously, good luck to Seattle. I hope to see lots of expletives coming from Parcells' mouth. Boy a lip-reader would be sent to bed early when the camera zooms in on the Dallas sideline if they aren't winning :hihi:

Parcells and expletives...that is a sure thing! :chuckle:

I must say that when I lived in Boston, I eagerly chastized the Boston fans in my office for the simple pleasure of seeing normally kind people explode into a rant and rave about my depraved exclamations. For the several years that the Sox came close to winning and then to lose it at the end, sweet victory for me! I am eating my hat now that the curse has been "broken."

Juro,

If you find your way to the North End, please eat a slice of pie (pizza) from the Pizzeria Regina for me! Oh, and make sure it is extra well done on the bottom. Gotta love burnt crust pizza!! yummy!!! :) :) :)

Juro,

I hope you didn't watch the game. I have my usual post Seahawk game sickness now.
Unbelievable! Yet very believable when it comes to the Seahawks. :(

Unfortunately... not to mention that it's 3 hours later here and I have a two hour commute in snow to an early meeting in the morning WHY WHY WHY :hihi:

But I've figured out how to take the sting out of Seahawks games. I root for the Hawks, but bet however much I want them to win (more for important games, less for less significant contests) against them.

Then, if they win, I have reason to party and am happy to pay. And if they lose, I've got consolation! :lildevl: :lildevl:

Sick and twisted, I know, but it's the only thing that works for me. :hihi:

Sadly, I'll be collecting tomorrow. I'd rather have been paying.

How about them CHARGERS!!!!!!

I can't figure out what the Seahawks problem is, they certainly have the talent but it appears they have a mental block to winnning.

That was so horrible to see them come back and then piss it away.
