I fish a lot on a small very weedy lake in north west washington and of course wooly buggers work great but I was wondering what kind of dry flys would work. :)

A never fail pattern for me on most any lake in washington is a black body dubbed quigley cripple with no tail. Fish will take them for emerging callibaeits or chronomids. My favorite trout fly.
