: October Two-hander Outing?

We've been talking about this, how about we start planning after the rip trips?

Sandy Hook, Montauk or some other good choice for big fall blitzes. Might be good for two-hander types to get a fall fling in to get some reps before the winter, keeping in mind that the first trip after the deep freeze will be spring migration mayhem on the beach... two-hand territory as this year's spring clave proved.

Anyway, let's start planning after the rip trips. Halloween time frame maybe.

Good luck on South Monomoy, wish I were going!

Depending upon my availability, I'd definitely be interested in such a trip.

I'm in as well! The Hook could/should be rockin' by the third week in October! On the other hand, I will be happy for an excuse to cross over to the Phar Side for a final fling in '04...whatever works for the majority!

Best regards,

Sounds like a good idea! :smokin:

Although my first trip after the freeze will be schoolie bashing in the lower CT river.

I might even try for "striper-in-every-month-of-the-year-on-fly" award in '05. :lildevl:

This sounds good to me. I will certainly be trying to extend my fishing this fall and a NJ clave even in November if there are fish still around would be cool.

I'm game for an outing in October, as far as november. The carolinas and fat Alberts sounds good. We'll have to see if any one else from the forum are planning on heading down to the Carolinas this year.

Just a question is this only for those with a two hander? FishHawk

Bill, you know us all better than that

However, single-handers might feel a bit intimidated surrounded by all of the

I`m starting to get the feeling that if you don`t own an Atlantis your not welcome here anymore!

Hardy Slinger, the reality is that two-handers are still far in the minority but as the angling year expires I think it would be good to actually DO one of the two-handed get togethers we'd discussed all year.

Depending on the dates I would like to attend even though I might be out gunned. :chuckle: :hihi: FishHawk

I missed bone clave because of a back problem this might be just the ticket to make me stop whinning about it.
