I offer for sale my small collection of spey rods. I moved to smaller waters and can't justify the rods. Have also been doing much more cane rodbuilding than spey fishing.

18' Daiwa WF98 Whisker 10-12wt rod -- A beast (but not unruly at all) Unimaginable power. I mean that. BUT--- a very pleasant progressive action that is fun to tip cast ultra-skinny loops with a 10wt TT or bang out monster snakes with an XLT and the butt. Scares wildlife, children. OWN THE BIGGEST STICK -- RARELY seen in the US. Pretend you are Scottish, use an 18' salmon rod ;)

***$275 + shipping (As new condition-- original sack -- fished a few days -- cast a few days)

15' JP Ross (Eastbranch Blank) 9/10 Weight Medium-Fast with TWO TIPS -- After trying many a rod, I've found none I like more. Light, responsive. Something like a SLIGHTLY less stiff Sage European, IMHO. Great for spey or overhead. Was my go-to striper stick in the surf as it is light and functions extremely well with shooting heads in the wind. Had it made with two tips for a Kola trip that never happened. Beautiful, tasteful feather inlays on the rods; pretty patterned cork. An excellent first spey rod -- Ask around about the Eastbranch speys--- really good stuff.

***$360 + shipping (As new condition--- rod was JUST refinished at the factory and comes with factory sack and factory tube)

Hexagraph 15' Walker 9/10wt

A fun, medium rod in the cane tradition. Effortless at normal speyfishing distance. Was a welcome change from modern tubular graphite. Not the prettiest rod in the world, but full of karma and has LOTS more days left in it. Maybe the best reelseat EVER on a spey rod. Feels like you really have something when you hold and cast this rod. I LOVE it for fishing for coarse species.

***$125 + shipping (fair-good COSMETIC condition with some finish flecks and a rewrapped snake... EXCELLENT FUNCTIONAL condition-- ferrules fit great, female ferrules look good for another decade of hard use)

Take 'em all for $700 plus shipping.

Pics happily to the truly interested

Well the 6 hours I waited at the repair shop cost me well over $100 per hour, I am out of the running for now. I guess I will just have to keep practicing with the Thompson Specialist (16'7" 10/11/12) and try to work my way up to "The BEAST"

Sorry for taking such a quick interest, I would have loved to play with such a toy but it's not in the cards at the moment financially.
