Recently I have been taking pictures of whatever I have been tying as I go. I thought there might be a few people interested. This pattern was shown to me by Rick Sharp who guides on the Merrimac. It's not exactly like the original. This fly has great action in the water due to all of the movement inherent in the materials.

Hook: 34007 2/0
Thread: 3/0 Uni Black
Tail: White ostrich, silver flashabou
Body: Palmered x-cut rabbit
Wing: Olive craft fur, olive krystal flash
Eyes: 3mm witchcraft epoxy eyes
Throat: Red rabbit

Very nice pattern. I'll tie some up for the fall pike fishing, maybe even try them out for lakers (not FF at 90 ft. deep!) at the end of my trolling gear. I think I'll "bulk" them up with some flared white bucktail or some EZBody tied as a spreader since they may thin out too much when wet.
