The Hardy ultralight series is worth a look!

Agree w/the ultralight
A classic, light click and pawl would make a nice match.

I can't disagree with anyone recommending a gear-and-pawl drag hardy, but my preference would be one of the lightweight series. The Featherweight (2-7/8") is a good match for a #4 rod.

I agree with you also. I have a St. Aiden, great little reel. It's got some "attitude", so any of the lightweights would be nice too. They certainly have a timeless look, and would be a nice accent for any rod.
