Welcome to the new forum!

We still have a few style issues to work out but for the most part everything seems to be working.

To familiarize yourself with the new software I suggest you read the FAQ :

http://www.flyfishingforum.com/flytalk4/faq.php

It will explain the new features and let me know if you have any questions/problems.

Since the update there has beenc hangeswhich donot seem to work on this new version. The spell check is gone and you are not redirected back to the original forum . Am I missing something? I have to hit the back button to get back.

I will have to redo spellcheck this weekend. I am not sure what you mean by 'you are not redirected back to the original forum ', can you elaborate?

Thanks and keep the bug reports coming,

Let see if I can explain what I mean. Before I would click on say World Forum . Then I would read the thread and a box would appear which would say World Wide Forum. I would then be taken back to the World Wide forum by hitting go in the box below the thread. Hope I'm making myself clear. FishHawk

OH I think what you mean is not at the top of the page under the FFF logo:

You should see this:

Flytalk > Open Forum > Worldwide Flyfishing Discussion

You can click on the Worldwide Flyfishing Discussion to get back to the forum you were browsing. Is that waht you were looking for?

About the new upgrade. Well what can I say. When I'm on the main forum page and my mouse is close to a subject I keep getting pop up windows what each subject is about. Just a litte annoying. This happens on the new posts link. But maybe it's just me. You get used to one way and then they up and change it. But I'm just an old man and I like to complain.

Yeah that is meant as a feature so people can quickly scan topics without having to click on them. It is supposed to help people be able to skip subjects they are not interested in.

If enough people hate it we can turn it off but I bet you will get used to it in a few weeks. I do not like change much myself but sometimes it is a necessary evil...

Sean,

Nice clean, fast-loading new look. Well done. One minor thing: the links to the individual messages (upper right of each entry, in blue and underlined) are hard to see.
