Went out with Juro to North Monomoy.
The wind was tough managed one 32" fish but had a lot of
good shots at fish. His two handed rod casts very well but does toke time to master. Maybe for next years trip. Had a great time.
It was a real pleasure and man that fish sure had some afterburners! Video material too, the way we spotted it, cast to it and how perfectly you closed the deal with the lone legal cruiser. The fish are getting out of the migratory racer phase and into the stout barrelchesting drag busters we know and love.
You know a wind is tough for flyfishing when it's hard to walk against. But we made the best of it by keeping the sun and wind at our back and a big window where the fish kept us on our toes and alert for a good part of the day.
We saw a fair amount of monster bass as well, would've been nice to get that many shots on a bluebird day!
