To All

Noticed that this is not only "Memorial Day" weekend, but is "National Fishing and Boating" weekend as well.

So by combining recognition to both, I hope not to introduce a political issue.

First of all....

I doff my hat to ALL the vets out there this weekend.

... And a special thanks to the families and those soldiers giving their lives, and loved ones to our present situation.

To all those Vets out there mowing the lawn, fixing the roof, and tuning up the wagon.....Good on all of Ya.

Now take some time and go fishing !!!!

I intend to celebrate both Holidays myself.....};^)....

P.S.

I was in SEA in 69/71.

...Any K-9 special forces out there: Phu cat, U dorn, Cammeron, NKP ?

Thanks Robert , and thank you for serving. Spent
22 years serving our Country. Most important,
the Men and Women who gave the ultimate
sacrifice for our Freedom! God bless them, their
families, and our Country. Have a great weekend.

Hear hear!

So often society is too wrapped up in social, political and economic affairs to remember what hell some have endured so that our country could be more like heaven back home. In reality they can only afford to forget because of the courage of the men who stood in the line of fire.

Here's to my uncle Pete, who went through hell with the 5th Marines in Korea (Pusan, Inchon, Chosin,etc.). He still can't enjoy a good July 4 fireworks display; his foxhole buddy was vaporized by a direct hit while Pete was (fortunately) heeding the call of nature.....a nightmare in anyone's book.
Semper Fi, Pete.

Amen to all of the above!

Let's never forget what the men and women of our armed forces have sacrificed and endured to safeguard the freedoms that too many take for granted. Regardless of politics, they have stood in harm's way for us, and we have much to be grateful for as a result.

My thanks and the thanks of my family to all those who served or are serving today.

Semper paratus!
