Steelhead flies

I am going on my first steelhead trip this October.
I need a sure-fire, ace in the hole, fail-safe fly to use...
I tied the BOSS, BLACK PRINCE, SKUNK, SKYOMISH SUNRISE, UMPQUA SPECIAL and THOR's... (all Orvis patterns)
Is there something I missed? ???
What would you suggest?

I replied to this once and moved the thread out of the archive and into the normal steelhead discussion board (since this is a discussion and not an archive pattern per se). Take a look and I hope we can get you set for some screaming reel action!
