Hi Willie Gunn,

just wondering if in the off season you will be plying your trade for grayling in Scottish rivers? As an Irish angler I have always been jealous of the all year round Princess of the Stream being available just out of casting distance (as it were).

Any chance you could regale us with a tale of highland (or lowland) grayling?

Hi Mylo.
I have never come across grayling up here.
which is probably not a bad thing, I don't think my marriage could stand it. The Salmon season opens Jan15 on the Ness, it's not long to wait.

Check out the Teviot for great grayling! My old friend Geoff Bucknall reckoned that this river could produce a british record someday. I've had many fish in the 2 - 3 lb class whilst trout fishing in April.
