Ate a size 1/0 Gordo's Glass Mino, tied thick with extra chartreuse in it. Spit up two 5 inch minnows in the boat.

I should be going past you in about 2 weeks, save some for me!:hehe: I'm running my new boat from Miami to Cape Cod and "have flyrod/will travel". Any suggestions to locate them, or ust look for the birds?

If you see flocks of birds then you will be looking at albacore and if offshore enough YFT. The bonito are over the nearshore artificial reefs from Cape Lookout to Cape Fear. Ar-315, 320, of of Beaufort Inlet and on south to 376 off of Masonboro Inlet.
The bite is from first light to about 8 am. Beaufort is a great town to pull into for the night. Lots of nice restaurants and the town docks are pretty reasonable. Get a hold of me if you are going to do that. My cell # is on my website. Go ahead and give me a call and I will point you straight.
