We passed the 100,000 post milestone about a month ago, and I just noticed that we have recently passed the 15,000 thread mark as well.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again....you guys talk too much!

It's Juro's 11,248 posts that are running up the numbers.

Really Fred? I thought it was all of your non fishing related posts.
Well fred, I account for that from the days when I first put up this bulletin board years ago and no one was signed up yet. All those times I asked "anybody out there??" must've really added up :p
Then when Dana's Speypages and the forum joined forces the post count doubled overnight. And a long night it was, Sean burned the candle at both ends to pull off the integration. JimW held up the sponsorship drive so we could pay for all the upgrades and the moderators chip in to keep the peace day to day. Most importantly, thousands of members the world over come here and conduct themselves as sportsmen with a sense of camaraderie that is very rare for websites in this day and age. over 100,000 posts, wow. I hope the years to come are as good as the years that have brought us to this point!

I think you've hit the nub of why this Board is so unique and the 'world wide' level of contribution is beyond any other that I'm aware. If you look at the 'location' section under the poster's name it appears that with the exception of the far east, "we" truly are a World Wide Fly Fishing Forum.
Even after the all the years the one, or other or combined board have been about, I can only think of (perhaps?) a half dozen times where a moderator has stepped in and said: "Enough." That's a lot of 'zeros' after the dec. point if you're looking at percentages.
To borrow an appropriate turn of words: "If you build it, they will come."

Best on the web bar none.
Someone needs to catch up with Juro's 11k posts.(he must do a lot of copy/paste) I'd try but carpal tunnels really scares me.
