Does anyone have first hand experience with single handed rods made by WW Greig (Custom Made brand name)? I heard about them this past weekend: IM6 blank, titanium reel seat w/rosewood, decent cork. Supposed to cast like a rod priced 8-10x higher. True value?

Gator, I have an 8/9 four piece that I found at a clearance sale for a very reasonable price. The bottom ferrel broke fighting a small steelhead twice. In both cases I returned the rod to the shop and it was replaced in a few weeks. I've never taped a single handed rod, but sounds like I should have. The rod casts well, but i'm a medicore fly caster. I feel a little gun shy now but I am still fishing with it.
