I have a reel with a wobbly reel foot. The screws that hold it onto the reel are as tight as they will go. Also I cannot take the screws out to place a spacer under the foot. Perhaps they are locktite on. I was thinking of trying to squeeze some epoxy under the foot. Any Ideas or suggestions?
Why not sent to manuf to do the job. If you want to try yourself, I would soak frame in something to loosen fasteners. Hot soapy water, liquid wrench?? If you break off screws in frame you are sunk. If manuf used loctite at all, it would be blue and not red, so you would be able to remove. Injecting epoxy under foot sounds messy to me. Try to fix it correctly.

Is it a System II? I've seen quite a few of these with loose reel feet. I'd get in touch with Sci. Angler (or whoever the manufacturer is) and get a new reel because it's unlikely that a new foot or screws will fix the problem. The problem is probably in the threads which are in the reel frame.
