: What's our coverage for the weekend?

In the northeast, it looks like we have the Beaverkill NY, Deerfield MA, Rangeley Maine regions covered for sweetwater.

I know there will be some serious anxiety (due to the spring closure) in those Spey casts out in the Pacific Northwest this weekend in the pursuit of the summer steelhead opener as well. The Stilly, Skykomish, Snoqualmie, Columbia tribs, Peninsula streams - all getting some attention for sure. In Oregon we have some Deschutes coverage this weekend as well. The Rogue is chock full of springers that could spool a 9wt with ease. Cohos are hitting in the northwest saltchuck, summer runs are heading for the headwaters, and the Mariners are kicking ever-living ass!

Across the puddle it sounds like the Amsterdam anglers are going to get into the seatrout action this weekend, and the Danish members as well.

Wondering if Wille ever got his Scottish salmon, or were kelts the catch of the day?

Haven't heard back from ScotsPhil after his trans-atlantic trip to the Delaware either.

Nate is still holding back on the Xmas Island teaser, and Kevin OConnor hasn't given us any hints about his last Eleuthera trip.

Sounds like Josh is having fun on Erie, nice to see the teenagers so excited about flyfishing.

We had a Rocky mtn encounter by a Noreaster, although Brad didn't hook up in person his advice and that of Bob Desplaines led to the honey holes.

Last weekend was Memorial in more ways than one around Monomoy for Steve Robbins (I am still amazed Steve!), Bob Pink Jr, and thanks to Capt.Todd Bill Stanton had a ball on the flats as well. Sox regained first place last night (tie with the Bronx bombers) and the weekend looks snotty but the fish are definitely in town!

And that's just a quick review from memory.

It's a great time of year for flyfishing in the northern hemisphere!
