Does it make a big sense?

Imho you should make a decision based upon which one you feel more confident fishing.

If your rod is really fast or stiff you may cast better with the six weight line. Also if you are fishing small streams where you are making a lot of short casts the extra weight of the 6 wt line may load the rod better. Most of the time I don't think about overlining any of my rods. However, I do have a 7' 4 wt for small streams that I think fishes much better with a five weight. If I use this rod where longer casts are needed I go back to a 4 wt line.

I have found that you can go one size above/below your rods posted line weight.
Smaller will make the line speed faster, larger will slow the line speed down.
This could work to your advantage for really tough trout fishing, or if you need a larger line to cast bigger flies (bass bugs, ect.)
Hope this helps. :)
