: Fly Swap #2-- Sign Up

OK....does anyone want to have another... I was thinking of Bonito and FA flies.... Doc, any headway on the tying exercise issue? If you want to do another..just sign in here...same rules... so even if only 4 guys sign up we can still have it uder the current format... would love to get between 8 and 12... out last swap had 9 participants.... Let me know here!
Can I join in? The flies I use out here for salt fishing seem to be the ones used for bonito/FA out east with minor color differences.
Never tried em on bonito but would like to pull the salt materials out again and do some tying.

36 views and One sign up? Are we getting tired of back to back swaps?... I can extend this to start the end of January to end the end of March... If we do that...I might contact Doc and help him set up the tying session which might be easier and fun... What do want to do?

John, I have to respectfully decline this swap. The warmwater swaps are ongoing, and things are getting busy tying wise for the local shop.
Too bad, because I could always use some more ammunition for those albies that continue to elude me.

I am interested now that the deadline may be pushed back. Lots of travel in Jan/Feb. FA/Bone patterns sounds good to me...or small flats patterns...say anything under size 4 ... or maybe crease flies - you can never have enough of them
Just a thought...:)

If ya push the deadline to march 1 or so I'm game... I need a material run as well, after the jersey show I'll be back in action. :D

OK...How about March 15....Albie and FA flys.... or do we Deceivers.... A bunch of differently tied deceivers might be fun and we have not done this...we always did specialty flies... OR... How about Squid flies... that would round out all our swaps.... I am Bumping this up again... Or we can just have each tyer choose what they would want to tie. Please let me know..

Would LOve to Join....Where should I mail flies and how many???

davidstrout...let's wait a bit more to see how many we get to sign on here.. I will then do the list... same rules...only 6 flies and one extra.... The extra will be at our Booth in the Wilmington show... I will also have the flys from this past swap at Wilmington, which I think is mid March... I will also go over the rules once the list is finalized... keep in mind these swaps are not set up like others... No torture for the same amount as the participants and people can sign in at anytime or drop out if they have to.

BUMP....Only 6 if we up the date...Anyone else?
John, I'm in. The first swap had some nice ties and good techniques.
FWIW, I've always gotten more than I've contributed in a swap, e.g. new ideas, materials etc. I'm somewhat surprised there has not been more response.
Thanks John for organizing them.

I am in on this one. My flytying desk project is almost complete and I can do a March 15 deadline.
