: Send me some Snow !

It's not fair !
We have the lowest snow pack (50% below the 20 year average) in the mountains. Skiing is the pits, the river is low and expected to be at its lowest levels in over 20 years. Only had one snow storm a few weeks ago and I had to brush off the one inch drifts off my driveway so as to not damage my snow scraper on the cement. And I suppose that you guys are out there throwing all this snow away into the ocean !
It just is not fair Eh!

...Looks like ANOTHER "snow day" tomorrow! (I was countin' on a day at work...now I'll have to tie a few flies and sort out some renegade gear)...You're right...It's JUST NOT FAIR!

Send us anything that resembles snow or water. Tue and Thur look like short sleeves and shorts. they gestimate 65 to 68 F. Snow On friday??????
Not good for this years salmon fry return to the salt.
well, just looked out back and we have about 6 inches of the stuff already... wish I could send you guys some of this... oh, my achin back!!! Tom D
Well, we've got about 16" around our neighborhood. Luckily it stopped but they are predicting more.
You know I really wish we could send some snow out west - this will not bode well for runoff for smolts and summer levels for our inland finned freinds out there.
In fact you can have all of mine, especially the stuff on the driveway! http://www.flyfishingforum.com/images/flytalk/Wilk.gif

This is weird. I'm on my 15th hour without electricity. My wifes laptop and a phoneline gets me here. I got a candle lighting the keyboard. We had a major high tension tower go down taking out 3 towns. My house is down to 50 degrees tonight and dropping. Getting irritating. Woooooo is me.
Time for winter to move on. Itchin for some troutin.

Sounds like the makings for a three-dog-night! Time to start burning all the back issues of "On The Water"!? Can FEMA be far behind?

I've got 9' high snowbanks along my driveway. Send a truck and yo can help yourself. Oh yeah, you have to shovel it. Cuz I'm done.
No juice is novel for a day then it sucks. That's why I've kept a woodstove all these years. Hope a surge of power is in your near future.

Be careful what you wish for. I've got 9' high snowbanks along my driveway. Send a truck and you can help yourself. Oh yeah, you have to shovel it. Cuz I'm done.
No juice is novel for a day then it sucks. That's why I've kept a woodstove all these years. Hope a surge of power is in your near future. Be careful of the temp dropping to low. You don't need frozen waterpipes.
Wow! Terry - hope you got your juice back... if things don't take a turn for the better let us know! You got my phone # too.

Terry...I've got a 3500 watt Honda generator in my garage (it's not that big but, all thing considered, it's better than no juice at all)...I could manage a delivery on Wednesday night or Friday if you're still off line. I'm in the S.Hadley area, maybe we could meet half way. email@example.com

Things are back "on" today. You're right Sully, no power is cute for a day, then it just sucks. You should see the number of snapped tree limbs, yow. Oh well, the day after tommorrow the Wilmington show starts right?
I'm psyched cause my brother might be joining us there too. It would be great to see him get back into FF (you should see this guy cook too! Look out Estey bros.)

~30" in Tewksbury, hard to tell with all the drifting. My plow guy had his transfer case break, so no plow job. Took 4 hours to shovel out. Plow mound at the street was 4.5' high & 6' wide, YiPee. Power went out at 10:00 AM on Tuesday Didn't come back till 5:30 AM Today! Heard the transformer blow, it sounded like a 12-gauge. House was 45 degrees when power came back on.
I'm tired & sore & wondering Why The F%^& Do I Still Live In NE !? We better have some great fishing this year or I'm outah-here! Just Kidding (Maybe).
Well, Greg - in about a week you'll be loafing in loafers on white sands with the missus, blue water and palm trees! Sounds like good medicine for the soul.
Strange weather lately! Did you hear about the 65 degree weather and drought conditions in the 'rainy' pacific northwest?
