Anyone know of any good books or resources for finding out what the fly fishing (freshwater and saltwater) in Spain is like? I may be spending a few years there shortly, and would like to get some idea of what I'm in for.

Chris...

Take a look at this site http://www.medflyfish.com/index2.html
Not just Spain but the whole Mediterranean area.
Hope it helps!

Thanks Stevo, looks interesting. I'll be sure to spend some time looking through the pages. The forum would be a bigger help if my Italian was up to snuff. Oh well, guess I'm going to have to learn it, hmm? Thanks again!

I also found another web site under Angling-in-Spain; very helpful. It would appear that saltwater fly fishing is fairly low-key in Spain, though trout and salmon fishing with the long rod looks like it's quite popular. I'll be in the country in April of this year for a week or so on vacation, and though I'll be going without my fly rod, I'll be sure to have a good look around.
