Last week I was casting in 87 degrees weather and running around in short sleeve shirts.

But Honestly Fred how is the fishing?

Fred,
Just how many empty bottles were you throwing out?

The rivers got over 12,000 (per actual count) steelhead in the top 30 miles so the fishing (opportunity wise) is excellent. Best in the last half of the day if the air temps. are going to be at/below freezing in the morning.

And, no ... no 'empty bottles' going out to the recycle bin.
:>)

By time the snow stopped, we had close to 2"on the the ground. The jet stream has made a hard right turn and is running down the Pacific Coast. This is pulling in artic air (even into southern Oregon) from Canada. Add clouds ... vo' la ... you've got snow WAY earlier than normal.
