There's nothing like spending a long lunch with two of the vice presidents of the company I work at. They've been itching to get into flyfishing for a while, and since one of them turns 40 today the other decided to get him and himself outfitted as a gift. Enter me, the guy known around the lab as the flyfisher, and you have instant abduction for an extended "lunch" at the flyshop.

They got nice entry level quality outfits, and after a series of meetings in Italy they'll be back to start breaking them in. It was fun....I get along with these guys really well, and they may soon understand my addiction to this type of fishing. They both already do a great deal of fishing with conventional gear.

I still haven't told them my price for being their recreation advisor.

Think "Executive retreat."

A kind of coorperate strategy planning session in a location completelty removed from the bizz.

like a fly-in cabin in ME, FLA keys, Bahamahs, etc.
