What's the feeling on doing tonight's all nighter at Nauset Beach... down at the Gorilla Hole about 1/2 from the parking lot...Not a long walk.... a historically good area at night... Does anyone have a read on the tides there this evening and early morning?????

John..That's a mile walk from the parking to the harbor entrance...A lot of boat activity early in the morning....Here is what I am going to do...I just spoke to Harry Koons... he says Nauset... But not the Gorilla hole... I will PM those who want to go to where he suggests which makes sence since I don't fish the area that much anymore...But He suggests starting around 10 tonight ..low tide is about 10:30 and we should be there to catch the first 2 hours of incoming... maybe it can be a shorter night than we think... and leave for home by 2 or 3 or even earlier... still get our sleep in....Ant thoughts?

I wiil probably give my early am/ Hardings plan a try. I need some sleep right now and I have to deal with a little less traffic at 2 am. I will check the posts when I wake up to see what's up.

I just checked the NOAA web sight. It's calling for a chance showers until midnight then showers likely after midnight. Hardings sounds interesting.

The weather has me spooked... I will wait for a clear night... But will head out to Nauset just for checking it out tomorrow at 5... If it's foggy that will be there will be an early incomming...It's not night but I will check things out.... If it T & L's the car will be close...
