Hey
I am taking my son on a fishing/camping canoe trip into Lake Superior Provincial Park. I have never been there but I am expecting the typical northern lakes and streams. I would think there are pickerel, pike, smallmouths and trout. If anyone has any experience in this area please chime in. I am also at a loss for a good list of fly patterns to have in our boxes.

Thanks

There are A LOT of pike and walleye in this area. So Big Streamers are the call. You can take your chances with a bare leader but lose some flies.
The trout fishing is a little suspect in this area you'd need to get more towards Thunder Bay for those. When in the park ask for lakes/streams that have what you want. Although Ontario's PP's are not very Fishing freindly compared to say Manitoba but that may have changed since i lived in Toronto
