Well, we all met at the causeway at around 6:30... I bumped into Larry and his friend at Larry's PX before hand and all 9 of us absent Craig (who contacted me last night to let me know he could not make it down for Plan B) headed to the boat. Outgoing tide and NOTHING.. We all split up, Larry, JimS and I headed over to the ocean side... light wind, no fish..Larry stayed and Jim and I headed out to the J bouy... Saw some fish ,good size but only two solitary ones. The J Bouy was crowded as was the rip immediatly beyond it... It's an incoming tide situation not outgoing today. Jim and I, as well as Flyfreak and CSJ60 began our march to the point. We saw great water around the south tip of south beach, but no fish... walked down to the high banks on the ocean side where the water was still deep off the beach even at low.... Nothing... then back in as the tide turned and around 2 the place inside was swarming with birds and small stripers... mostly all schoolies.. Jay and his buddies also made the ocean march but we all ended up inside. CSJ60 got a hot corner and one of his schoolies was bitten in half by, from what I could see of the mouth bite, some huge blue fish. A couple blues caught in the mix. Jim and I kept company most of the day. But I left on the 3 and Jim and everyone stayed an extra hour. I wonder what the ocean side would have produced on the incoming. Anyway, from my point of view , very unusual to have no hook ups from anyone on that outgoing. I think some of the guys did catch a couple of schoolies at the drop off just as we got off.
