Cool site that lets you store megabytes of storage in their domain free..

DRIVEWAY.COM

They give you up to 100 mb free (25 to start) and have an easy to use upload interface. Once the image is up there you click on it from their listing and it shows in the browser. Copy the address in the "Location" bar (along the toolbar above the browser window) and paste it in one of these message windows after the keywords.. [img= Then close it with a ] so it appears as

[img=]

The red part is the part you copied and pasted from the Location bar when you viewed the picture.

Here's an image I linked from their server...

Thanks for the heads up Bob...

If you select "view image" it shows up - but I guess you get what you pay for... nothing. The image link comes up broken more times than not. Based on this I'd holf off on these guys and try one of the many other services. I liked their "easy to use and register" service but I guess until they get their stuff together it'll be best to use another free web service.

I'll ping customer service and see what they have to say

FWIW, I'm pretty happy with for 10MB of webspace. That could be all images if you want. The thing I like about it the most is they also have a nice uploading tool. It's a "file manger". Quick and dirty. No messy FTP.

hello Domenic, good to hear from you!

I'd join you in Thoreau's stomping grounds but will be sneaking off to chase steelhead in the pacific northwest over the weekend. Maybe I'll see you up there the following weekend?

Post us a report early next week... you might enjoy reading the trout reports next year about this time when we're good and ready for another winter to let us out of it's grip.

Keep in touch,
