Taking the yearly freshwater trout trip to a new location this year. Going to the Upper Delaware and The Glenmorangie Lodge. Will be there the weekend of May 15th.

Anyone have any insights to this fishery? Hatches, etc.

Tips on what to do if no hatches? Locations?

We are primarily going to wade, but may float one day.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check out Caucci's website - mayfly.com

He "invented" the comparadun series of flies, and has a website re: the upper delaware - hatch timing charts, etc.

Fished the west branch thrusday-Sunday...It was slow fishing, I moved fish on streamers mainly. Rising fish were slow, however when we did get risers, they were caught on hendricksons, Blue quills, etc....Caught a handful of small trout and a few 18+ inch ones. Check out catskillflies.com. They are in Roscoe and are pretty good
