Would some of you experienced guys mind telling me what are some of the better colors to use for attractor flies for saltwater fish? My targeted fish are snook, reds, trout, tarps, permit and boons.

Howdy - To me, an attractor color is anything not typically found in the local forage; for snook and many of the other mangrove-frequenting species, patterns with red and white, as well as orange or pink, often seem to draw attention. I've had particularly good luck with red/white when chasing jacks and snappers, same applies to chartreuse patterns.

I experienced very good luck with a combination of yellow/white/and a little bit of pink bucktail tied as an Aztec which is a very old reverse tie pattern about a month ago on jacks and ladyfish

Chartruese is sure an attractor to me...not sure about the fish though!
