View of the future: futures price of 'sweet crude' dropped over 10% yesterday. Old memory here but just before the first Gulf War the price of a gallon of gas went to $2 bucks .... then trickled off to under a dollar in many areas of the country.
Betting money now is this will happen again very shortly .... just gotta get buy all the yo-yo's that bought their 'futures' at close to $40.
Like I said earlier, oil prices will FALL when the war becomes a certainty.

FUTURES MOVERS: WAR PROGRESS, SUPPLY RISE PUSH OIL UNDER $29 A BARREL
NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- The U.S.-led coalition's approach to Baghdad and a significant rise in last week's U.S. crude supplies pulled crude futures under $29 a barrel Wednesday for the first time in over a week.
In the Medford area the base price of a gallon of regular gas is down 7 cents/gal in less than a week. Fingers crossed for more reductions.
Forgot to add: this was a great play on words.
"Still, they have us over a barrel....
Sorry, that's a "crude" pun..."
And still too true.

It's dropped close to $0.15 per gallon here in the last 10 days or so; the cheapest I've seen regular is $1.309, and it looks to keep dropping.
