All I can say is that now with this forum picking up with the help of Hal and John D, as well....We should have a Tying forum book someday that will be more comprehensive than all the fly books put together... I see no other Fly Board around that is making great headway on the tying front...Great Job by everyone...

I am sure there are thousands of fly patterns that could be posted for salmon and steelhead.
Glad I just posted those pictures from the last swap.
One of our huskies decided to chew in half the PC USB cable today from my digital camera into the PC. So my picture upload capability is down until I pick up a new cable this week.
Are you using a close up lens for your pictures ? I think that is what I need.

Hal, I have the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P5..3.2 mega pixels... so it has a micro setting which I really have not tested to it's total capacity.
I think it is a good thing that this steelhead fly archive isn't restricted to the West Coast. I'm just too busy fishing to tie and post flies! I've been on-line much of today - cuz winter came to Vancouver... It snowed about 1/2" last night and has spent the day melting, Friday it snowed 2" :eyecrazy: - I was going to take a photo and post it for you guys - but it had melted by 9:30 AM :whoa: - I thought I'd missed winter for sure.
Its raining again - so all is well on the Wet-Coast. Maybe I'll tie a couple of flies tomorrow anyway

Yes I know about Vancouver winters spent 3 weeks there in Feb-March 1986 on business, thats when I hit the Vedder. No snow except for one storm, but it melts fast there.
