This was tied using the instructions from the Pop Fleyes book, with some minor modifications. Please PM me if you don't have the book and would like detailed instructions. Materials are as follows:

Hook: #2 Mustad 34007
Thread: Clear mono
Legs: Tan & Olive Superhair
Mouth Parts: Tan & Olive Superhair
Eyes: 20 lb Mono with ends melted to form eyes
Flash: Rootbeer Krystal Flash
Hackle: Ginger Saddle Hackle
Carapace: Tan & Olive Superhair
Antennae: Olive Superhair
Epoxy: Devcon 5 minute

For the legs, mouth and carapace I used mostly tan superhair with a small amount of olive superhair mixed in to give it a greenish tint. For the antennae I used 4 strands of olive superhair, 2 extending about 2" beyond the hook bend and 2 extending about 3" beyond the bend. These were tied in after the carapace so they would be on top of the fly. When I trimmed the carapace I folded the antennae forward and used a twist tie to hold them out of the way so I wouldn't accidentally cut them.
